Natural Rattan belongs to species of palm,which is well known as one of the native to the tropical regions such as Asia, Africa, and Australia. The majority dense field of natural rattans are found in Indonesia’s forests, with the rest of the world’s supply provided by Philippines, Srilanka, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Bangladesh.

As the abundant of rattan resources, Indonesia caters for around 80% of the world’s raw rattan products. Rattan is that kind of plant which grow twisting and creeping up on other plant, It grows from the soil climbing up ward.

In Indonesia, rattan is used for various purposes, but the most popular product from rattan is furniture which is well known as wicker furniture. The durability and natural looks are the appealing points of rattan or wicker furniture.
